Almost all the shims, especially the thin ones, are supplied on a single sheet of limited size, they remain attached to the sheet with a micro junction and are very easy to detach. This happens for ease of the protection treatment which in our case is the black electrolytic zinc plating, which guarantees more durable surface protection over time.
Shims can be supplied for standard applications in carbon steel and with the tolerance of the sheets on the market, normally they are performed in thickness 0.5 / 1.0 / 2.0 / 2.5mm.
The same can be supplied in different materials such as STAINLESS STEEL / COPPER / BRASS etc. With thicknesses from 0.1 / 0.2 / 0.3 / 0.4 / 0.5 / 0.6 / 0.7 / 0.8 / 0.9 / 1.0mm and some types of soft materials up to 1.2 mm.
These materials come from certified sheet metal rolls and comply with the European T3 tolerances on minimum thickness.
